Community Guidelines

Jence Community is for serious robotics and hardware engineering posts. Publish clearly, keep safety explicit, and make claims you can explain.

Moderation prioritizes technical quality, user safety, accurate disclosure, and basic professional conduct.

1. Technical Signal First

  • Use Community for technical posts, questions, lab notes, teardowns, and field reports.
  • Back up claims with methods, measurements, assumptions, or clear limitations where possible.
  • Keep titles, tags, and summaries relevant so other engineers can scan the post quickly.

2. Respectful Review

  • Challenge ideas, data, and design choices without attacking the person behind them.
  • No harassment, hate speech, threats, intimidation, or pile-ons.
  • If you disagree, explain what is wrong, what evidence is missing, or how it could be verified.

3. Safety and Restricted Content

  • Do not post instructions that enable harm, weaponization, or bypassing safety controls.
  • Do not publish exploit details for unpatched vulnerabilities or unsafe reproduction steps.
  • When discussing hazardous systems, include mitigations, safe operating limits, and failure considerations.

4. Disclosure, Authenticity, and Enforcement

  • Disclose sponsorships, vendor relationships, employer ties, and other conflicts of interest.
  • No plagiarism, impersonation, spam, fabricated results, or misleading attribution.
  • Jence may remove content, edit misleading tags, or suspend accounts for repeated or severe violations.

By participating, you agree to these guidelines. Content that undermines safety, accuracy, or trust may be removed.
